On Saturday 7 July, in conjunction with Architecture LGBT+ Network, RIBA will be hosting their annual pre-parade Bucks Fizz Breakfast with a panel discussion at 76 Portland Place.

The RIBA is committed to promoting equality and diversity in the architecture and wider built environment professions. The annual Pride breakfast is a wonderful, celebratory event which brings together members of the LGBT+ community provides an opportunity for open discussion and debate about the experiences of LGBT+ architects.

Speakers at this year’s event will include Danna Walker; Dieter Bentley-Gockmann; Chloe Tayali (RIBA Women in Architecture member); Danni Kerr (RIBA Role Model) and Dr Helen Zarod.

Founder of Architecture LGBT+ (our partner for the event) Tom Guy, said:

“It is important we are a visible network group within the industry to provide a support network for LGBT Architects and to help stamp out homophobia. Looking forward to the rest of the year we are looking to do regular events both in London but also across the UK.”

The breakfast will take place at 76 Portland Place from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday 7 July. Tickets are free but attendees must register here.

The Bucks Fizz Breakfast is sponsored by Foster + Partners, Jamie Fobert Architects and Stanton Williams (Silver sponsors), IF_DO, Bell Phillips Architects and project orange (Bronze sponsors) and Assael.
