The RIBA with the expertise and support of Kier, Hoare Lea, ScanTech Digital & Glider Technology are developing a Smart Building Overlay to provide guidance on co-ordinating smart building technologies and specifications through each RIBA Plan of Work stage.
This will enable informed decision making on projects for all project participants at the right time and order, helping industry to embrace smart technologies that enable improved outcomes for their built assets.
The Smart Building Overlay will launch at the end of 2023.
