Registering to practice as an architect outside of the UK

If you are interested in practising as an architect outside the UK, as a general rule you need to contact the national registration body of the country you are interested in for the most up-to-date information regarding registering and practising in the country.

In the EU, and under the Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament, on the recognition of professional qualifications, as a qualified architect from an EU country, you will be able to register and practise as an architect.
