South West London Architects Group

We are the RIBA South West London Architects Group, encompassing the London Boroughs of Croydon, Kingston, Lambeth, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth.

We would like architects and students who practice or live in the region to join our growing network, and help develop a forum for members to engage with each other, promote group events, open dialogues and strengthen links with local enterprises, schools of Architecture and other professionals within the industry.

Drink and Draw: An Evening with an Architectural Illustrator

The South West London Architects Group held an evening of drinking and drawing, kindly hosted by DSDHA Architects.

Architectural illustrator Philip Buckingham helped attendees build confidence, speed and develop architectural illustration techniques through a series of informal drawing exercises. This event was part of a series of drawing workshops where different techniques are explored at each event. Attendees were asked only to bring two drawing pens with them (Artline 0.4 fine liner & Sharpie Twin Tip or similar).

After the drawing class, there was a chance to continue sketching, have a drink and a conversation with a few old and new faces.
