2021 Global Architecture Exchanges: People, Planet, Profession - Topic 3

The Global Architecture Exchanges are a unique online series of talks hosted in collaboration with other professional, global institutes of architects where we explore how architects are tackling universal challenges. Join us for Topic 3 – Affordable housing - what can architects do to address social inequalities?

Join us for the third topic of the 2021 Global Architecture Exchanges series: Affordable housing - what can architects do to address social inequalities?

How can innovative architectural ideas respond to social inequalities (housing, poverty, health)?

What are the different ways to deliver housing when it is managed and/or delivered at different levels (council/government authorities, private housing, community-let housing etc.)?

Look beyond the profession to supply solutions to the lack of infrastructure in some places.

How to include the management of future crises (be it another pandemic, climate change, or other) in our designs?

Join us and hear perspectives from architects on how affordable housing is delivered in other countries, through the Global Architecture Exchanges Topic 3 – Affordable housing - what can architects do to address social inequalities?
