Special guests Holly Galbraith (Níall McLaughlin Architects), and Ben Burley (Tim Ronalds Architects) join us for this lunchtime talk – part of a series celebrating RIBA award-winning buildings.
Hosted by Annalie Riches (Mikhail Riches), the panel will be sharing the story behind the educational residences Masters Field Development and Aisher House, Sevenoaks School - followed by a live interactive Q&A session.
Masters Field Development by Níall McLaughlin Architects - the development of a sophisticated visual and constructional language that allows for the degree of repetition and subtle variation that is both necessary and appropriate for a single building project of this size and in this context. This project won a 2022 RIBA South Award, South Project Architect of the Year, and a RIBA National Award.
Aisher House, Sevenoaks School by Tim Ronalds Architects - the new boarding house for boys at Sevenoaks School combines a skillful response to a complex brief with a confident piece of placemaking. They are an unusual T-shape to allow a hit-and-miss appearance - giving a cadence of light and shade. The project won a 2022 RIBA South East Award and a RIBA National Award.
