Experiencing space: Architecture at the RIBA - family event

Celebrate Open House and join us a free creative workshop especially for families with visually impaired children.

Celebrate Open House and join the RIBA and DisOrdinary Architecture Project for a free creative workshop especially for families with visually impaired children. During the workshop, families will be able to explore and experience architecture. The RIBA headquarters is full of large and small spaces made with different materials. Families can feel, see, smell and hear what the historic building is like, and create their own "word picture" in response.

Booking is essential. Email Wilson Yau at wilson.yau@riba.org to book your place.

Please note: This Open House workshop is specifically for families with visually impaired children.

COVID-19 safety

A range of measures, such as social distancing, wearing face coverings when moving around, one-way systems and limiting numbers of people, will be in place in the building for everyone's safety, In addition, we will be asking anyone aged 16 and over who books onto the event to complete a short online form for the RIBA's track and trace system.
