Join RIBA Learning for a special visit to the Zaha Hadid Foundation in Clerkenwell. The visit will include a tour of the building, an introduction to the work of architect Zaha Hadid and a creative architecture-inspired workshop. The Foundation is housed in a Victorian school building that was later converted into artists’ studios before becoming the international HQ of Zaha Hadid Architects from 1985 until 2021. The visit will be led by artist and educator Wilson Yau, Learning Officer at the Zaha Hadid Foundation.
This event is for anyone aged 55 or over that has an interest in discovering more about architecture, with a chance for discussion. All materials and refreshments will be provided.

Exploring Architecture is a monthly free event exploring areas of architectural interest around London, usually on the first Thursday of the month. Each month will take a different format, including tours, creative activities and special insights into the RIBA Collections with an opportunity to socialise.
Zaha Hadid Foundation
The Zaha Hadid Foundation was founded in 2013 by the globally renowned architect Zaha Hadid. It became operation in 2022 and is dedicated to preserving, studying and exhibiting the work and artistic legacy of Hadid. As well as managing its collections, ZHF curates exhibitions, promotes learning through public talks, events and loans, and supports research at all levels.

The building is step free and wheelchair accessible. There is a 7cm step from the street to our main entry gate. Please contact us in advance if you require the use our step-free alternative entry gate. We have accessible and gender-neutral toilets. Assistance dogs welcome.
