Please join us for our final inspirational event for 2018 on Thursday 8 November.

We look at examples of urban designs in the public realm to see how they impact on the community, as well as discuss positive and negative outcomes, with best practice design examples.

In conversation and introducing Ben Derbyshire, the current RIBA President, from HTA Architects LLP, who will introduce the event and give a brief update on industry affairs.

Anna Liu, joins us from multi RIBA Award winning practice Tonkin Liu, she will start the conversation with her take on urban design and give some examples.

Jim Heverin, from award winning global designers Zaha Hadid, will continue the debate with his interpretation of design in the public realm giving international best practice examples and will talk about how some of central Bristol is being discussed for development.

The event will take place at the Watershed, in Bristol from 5:30pm and chaired by David Littlefield, Senor Lecturer in Architecture at UWE Bristol.
