We continue our series of lunch and learn sessions, kicking off this year with Architecture and Climate, as part of our knowledge and learning programme.

The climate challenge presents a new set of challenges to designers and place makers, so we seek methods and products to reduce the impact on the planet, so as to create better living environments.

We have invited four professionals to speak at this event in order to get a different perspectives on this topic.

The Presenters:

  • Paul Barker, Bristol City Council, Energy infrastructure manager, The Energy Service

  • Jessica Lamond, Professor in Real Estate and Climate Risk, University of the West of England

If you are an architect, urban designer, planner, councillor or anyone who has an interest in finding better solutions for more sustainable cities, this could be the event for you.

The presentations will be done in a style called Pecha Kucha which uses imagery and spoken word to create a memorable, meaningful and concise presentations, completed in six minutes and 40 seconds (20 images, 20 seconds each).
