RIBA Plymouth and University of Plymouth Present: Response to Grenfell with Jane Duncan IPPRIBA
- What does the Grenfell Tower fire disaster and the Independent Review of the Buildings Regulations and Fire Safety mean for the regulatory system, the construction sector and property and insurance market now and in future?
- The future implications for public safety, clients and architects of the devastating fire at Grenfell Tower and the subsequent DCLG cladding testing programme are not yet clear. Jane Duncan, the RIBA Chair of the Expert Panel on Fire Safety and former RIBA President, will provide an overview of the Independent Review of the Building Regulations and Fire Safety led by Dame Judith Hackitt, and will share her expert knowledge and intelligence of leaders in the regulatory and construction sectors.
