RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge: Large Practice event

Join us as we hear from three large RIBA Chartered Practices who have made significant changes in their businesses to take on the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge and tackle the climate emergency.

In this session three large RIBA Chartered Practices will share knowledge on how they have approached their commitment to the RIBA 2030 Challenge, including educating and encouraging all staff, collecting data, undertaking post-occupancy evaluations (POE), and engaging with clients and contractors. They will highlight their successes and join delegates in an honest discussion around the challenges of meeting the targets. Whether you are already a 2030 signatory or are considering adding your name to our growing list of practices, this event is open to all larger Practices.

Chaired by Gary Clark (Chair of RIBA Sustainable Futures Group), this session will feature presentations from three large RIBA practices followed by a panel discussion.

Chair: Gary Clark (RIBA, BREEAM, Leed AP) - HOK Regional Leader of Science and Technology, and Chair of RIBA Sustainable Futures Group

Gary is the regional leader of the HOK’s Science + Technology practice covering the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East. Based in HOK’s London studio, he brings more than 30 years of experience designing high performance buildings across multiple sectors, with a focus on spaces that foster collaboration and engagement.
