RIBA Cityscape Intelligence Sketchbook – Winner’s Live Sketching Session

Following the RIBA Cityscape Intelligence Sketchbook – Culturally Significant Vernacular Architecture in the Gulf competition, the RIBA with Cityscape Intelligence invite you to an afternoon of live sketching with the competition’s winner to celebrate the winning sketch!

The one-hour livestreamed session is open to the entire Gulf (United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman) and aims to delve deeper into why hand-drawing is a vital part of architects' creative processes. During this live-stream the winner will recreate their winning sketch for the audience to view; while reflecting on and discussing the subject of the sketch as well as the techniques and medium used while highlighting the commonalities and differences in vernacular architecture in the Gulf region.

During this session, the RIBA and Cityscape Intelligence will also announce and display the shortlisted entries for the Gulf audience to view.

You can register for free and join us to follow along with the winner’s sketching techniques used or sit back and enjoy the insights and skills of the RIBA Cityscape Intelligence Sketchbook winner.
