The Cathedral is undergoing an exciting project to transform the opportunities it can offer, through the reordering of the interior, upgrade of building services and a four storey Heritage Learning Centre extension.
This event is hosted by Leicester Cathedral, supported by RIBA East Midlands and Leicestershire and Rutland Society of Architects, and features a talk and building tour by vHH Architects.
An ideal event for anyone interested in history, architecture, the conservation of historic buildings, and how to reduce their energy output through careful, sensitive interventions.

About Leicester Cathedral
Leicester Cathedral is at the physical heart of our city and county. Our church, built on the site of a Roman temple and dedicated to St Martin of Tours, has been embedded in the public, economic, cultural and religious life of this community since medieval times.
Since 1927, as the seat of the Bishop of Leicester, we now gather people together for worship, celebration, lament, debate and service of the poor and vulnerable.
