RIBA East Small, New & Emerging Practice Network meetup - December 2021

Join us for the December RIBA East Small, New & Emerging Practice Network meetup, a regular online networking meeting aimed at start-ups, sole practitioners and small and emerging practices in the East of England.

The RIBA East Small, New & Emerging Practice Network is a regular online networking meeting aimed at start-ups, sole practitioners and small and emerging practices in the East of England.

For the December online meeting, we're looking forward to welcoming William Burges of 31/44 Architects to talk about his 'origins story' - an introduction to 31/44 Architects and their journey so far.

Will Burges studied architecture at the University of Brighton and became a RIBA Chartered Architect in 2001. Prior to forming 31/44 Architects in 2010, he gained professional experience working as Associate Director at Proctor & Matthews Architects. Will leads on the design of all projects and oversees the general management of the practice. He has been a guest critic and lecturer at a number of architecture schools in the UK and currently runs an undergraduate design studio at Kingston School of Art, London.

As always, conversation, group participation and networking is encouraged and we welcome questions that can be either posted when registering or emailed to Sasha, Luke or Jules via juliet.talbot@riba.org.

These events are hosted by Sasha Edmonds, Founding Director of Liv Architects and Luke Butcher, Founding Director of Butcher Bayley Architects.

Pull up a chair, grab a laptop and a coffee, and join the network.
