Following RIBA Europe's first event in Paris, we are delighted to announce the next event will take place in Milan which will include a building tour and cocktail reception. The event will take place over two days; details of day one are below and further information on day two will follow soon.
Members are invited to visit the new urban Campus for Bocconi University - designed by SANAA Architects, the new urban campus is located on a large site close to the city center of Milan, adjacent to the existing university. The visit will be supported by Progetto CMR (the largest architectural practice in Italy), responsible for the executional design of the project.
The project comprises several buildings, each with its own program: the teaching and administration building (a number of interconnected cells), dormitories and a recreation center. These buildings sit in a new park that is open to both the university population and the general public.
After the tour there will be a cocktail reception in the cocktail bar/cafeteria, “La centrale”.
Tickets
Places are limited so please sign up early for this tour and reception to avoid disappointment. RIBA Members can register free and non-members can buy tickets for £25 per person.
