Architects and Urban Designers play a crucial role in advancing UN Sustainable Development Goals by creating environments to enable quality and continuous education, they contribute by:
- designing inclusive, sustainable, and inspiring educational spaces.
- supporting lifelong learning through civic and cultural infrastructure.
- embedding values of diversity, sustainability, and accessibility into design processes.
- collaborating in urban strategies that promote educational equity and integration.
To continue RIBA Europe’s mission to promote architecture, support architects through continuous education, and enhance its presence across the continent, RIBA Europe are organising our next event series in Paris to elaborate on the topics above as well as foster connections among education stakeholders and RIBA members.
The programme will be held over two days, 23 October to 24 October.
Key themes to be explored will include:
- educational quality, equity, and accessibility
- inclusive environments
- the role of new technologies such as AI intersecting to support accessible, lifelong, and empowering learning for all- and more!
The programme will also include many opportunities to network, a drinks reception, and building tours.
The programme is open to all interested in education, architecture, and urban design. Invited guests also include:

- UN-Habitat
- Architects Council of Europe ACE,
- UNICEF
- Several European schools and universities
