We are excited to be heading back to the Festival of Thrift on 21 and 22 September.
About Festival of Thrift
Festival of Thrift (FoT) is the UK national festival of sustainable living, positioning artists as inspirers to action and encouraging change through workshops, exhibitions, and performances, and giving families the confidence to create while having fun on a budget.
The festival of thrift celebrates all things sustainability and creativity. Join us for two interactive days of learning, networking, and fun. It promises to be an engaging and educational weekend with something for everyone of all ages to enjoy over the weekend.
There will be presentations from local members and built environment workshops for young people and families in the tent this year. There will be plenty of opportunities to get involved or to enjoy inspiring talks and demonstrations.
Get involved
We are currently looking for volunteers across the region to take part and help us over the weekend, please let us know if you would like to get involved in this rewarding experience.
We would also love to see North East members there, this is an amazing opportunity to connect with likeminded people - if this sounds like something you would like to be part of, please get in touch with riba.northeast@riba.org.
We look forward to seeing you there for a fun family day out of workshops, engaging conversations, and activities.
