The JEDI talks (Just Equity Diversity Inclusion) are hosted by RIBA NE and supported by a team of architects from across the North of the UK. The series has become a popular platform for discussion on themes varying from flexible working, the impact of the pandemic, racism v. inclusion, gender diversity, and the human cost of architecture.
We’re excited to announce 'unintended consequences' as the first talk of 2024.
About the talk
What happens when the outcomes of our actions differ from what we expected? We’ll be hearing from a diverse panel of speakers who will be exploring the unforeseen consequences - positive and negative - that have arisen from their work and actions in advocating for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) within the architectural profession.
Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights into navigating the nuances and challenges of promoting EDI.
We endeavour to be a non-hierarchical, value-driven group in pursuit of EDI in architecture. The discussions take place under Chatham House rules, to safeguard all who participate.
