Like so many of our valued historic sites, Islington Mill only survives today as a result of the tenacity of a small group of committed custodians. Since 2000 it has been the home of a creative community, supporting over 5,000 artists from 35 countries.
Since then the mill has undergone a gradual programme of renovation, culminating in a recent programme of works funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund, Arts Council and Salford City Council amongst others. With these works about to be complete, we invite you to join us for a tour of the site with Conservation Architect and Consultant Bernadette Bone (BB Heritage Studio).
