Join us throughout February as [Moment]um Collective take over at RIBA North West. Take part in their project mapping underrepresented and often invisible spaces in the North West of England through an architectural research lens.
For some background info, the [Moment]um Collective was formed when students from schools in the NW began to connect following the BLM protests and events in the summer of 2019. As students from different schools, they shared how they addressed issues of equality and diversity in architectural education. [Moment]um’s purpose is to reach beyond schools to the RIBA and any other outside institutions to affect change and raise awareness of issues of race, space and institutional inequality.
Online events will include a research workshop and discussion with Dominic Sagar, Senior Lecturer at Manchester School of Architecture, and other researchers, a QGIS mapping workshop and a final workshop to share research and discuss with a key speaker.
