About Wraxall Vineyard

Situated on a beautiful south-facing hill just south of the Mendips in Somerset, Wraxall Vineyard is surrounded by verdant countryside and breathtaking views. Blessed with a mild South West climate and rich fertile soils, the location is perfect for growing vines.

Growing vines and producing wine is a slow process and a real labour of love. Owners David and Lexa took over Wraxall Vineyard as a family venture in 2021. Quality and sustainability is at the heart of everything they do and are proud of producing truly great wines for all to share, celebrate, and enjoy.

Wraxall is one of the oldest vineyards in Somerset with a unique tasting space and Wine Bar, The View@Wraxall, designed by Orme Architecture is open to visitors all year round.

Some of the vines at Wraxall are now more than 30 years old. Over the years, the Vineyard has developed a mature range of Pinot Noir, Pinot Précoce, Bacchus, and Seyval Blanc. With additional plantings of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay during 2022 and The Old Orchard will be planted with more vines in 2025, their aim is to ensure that Wraxall continues to produce high quality wines for many years to come.
