This presentation will explore the performance and specification of different lime mortars for repair and conservation, explaining the differences between hydraulic and non-hydraulic limes.
The talk will also discuss aggregate types, pozzolan use, and the correct approach to replicating historic lime mortars. Hot mixing of mortars will also be included, along with limes used in mortars, plasters, and renders, both internally and externally.
