Leeds Society of Architects (LSA) are thrilled to announce that, after a two-year hiatus, they are bringing the hugely successful RIBA Stirling Stories: North event back to Leeds in 2024.
This prestigious event will bring together and recognise the six very best buildings in the last year; which are shortlisted for the highest accolade in architecture, the RIBA Stirling Prize 2024.
- Chowdhury Walk, Al-Jawad Pike
- The Elizabeth Line, Grimshaw, Maynard, Equation AtkinsRéalis
- King's Cross Masterplan, Allies and Morrison and Porphyrios Associates
- National Portrait Gallery, Jamie Fobert Architects and Purcell
- Park Hill Phase Two, Mikhail Riches
- Wraxall Yard, Clementine Blakemore Architects
RIBA Stirling Stories: North offers an unique opportunity for our members in the north to get to know the real-life stories behind the creation of these fascinating schemes. The event will be the only chance to hear in person outside of London from all the nominated practices about this year’s shortlisted projects, with the Stirling Prize Awards evening set to be held in London a week later.
The fun filled event will once again be held at The Everyman Cinema, Leeds and will offer plenty of networking opportunities for those in attendance. On arrival, there will also be a food and drink reception, to help the conversations flow during the evening.

The event wouldn't have been possible without the support of the four sponsors: JamesHardie, Obex, Reynaers Aluminium, and Wienerberger.
