The exhibition celebrates the work of students of architecture, both emerging from London schools, and nationwide, in two separate displays.
RIBA’s annual thematic student display invites architecture students at all levels to submit work that underlines the concerns shared by emerging practitioners, professionals, and an expanded architectural culture. In 2019, the centenary year of the Bauhaus school, the theme ‘Industrialised’ was chosen in response the current exhibition Beyond Bauhaus: Modernism in Britain 1933-1966.
The London Regional student prize is selected from the wealth of architectural schools within the city. The winners were chosen by an independent group of architectural practitioners on behalf of the RIBA. On display is a small selection of printed drawings, as well as the full cohort of 2019 prize winners on screen.
This exhibition will run until the end of November 2019, and a special event to celebrate both displays will be held on 8 November 2019.
