RIBA+VitrA: Rethink Housing

Join us for the next talk in the VitrA programme and continuation of the series Challenge: Rethink with panellists Joseph Zeal-Henry, Cany Ash, Studio MUTT and Paul Karakusevic, chaired by Professor Ola Uduku.

The 2024 RIBA + VitrA 'Challenge: Rethink' talks series brings together practitioners who are leading the way in challenging expectations and rethinking conventional approaches, using architecture as a catalyst for positive urban and social change.

As Britain undergoes its continuing housing crisis, the Challenge: Rethink Housing discussion will address how architects can collectively rethink their approach to housing to meet society’s needs.

Chaired by Professor Ola Uduku, this panel talk will open with short presentations from panellists Joseph Zeal-Henry - designer, urbanist and curator; Cany Ash, founding director of Ash Sakula; Studio MUTT; and Paul Karakusevic, founder of Karakusevic Carson, who then come together to share insights into how we can address one of the most urgent issues of our time.

This event is part of our Challenge: Rethink series of talks for the RIBA + VitrA Partnership.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to add social, economic, and cultural value to society, and VitrA Bathrooms are proud to be supporting such an inspiring programme.

With innovation at its core, a global reach, and a tradition of collaborating with celebrated architects and designers, the VitrA bathroom brand has become a world leader, synonymous with contemporary sophistication since the mid-1900s.
