Join us at the RIBA Wiltshire Annual Forum, a networking event to meet fellow professionals, elect the new Branch Chair, listen to local architect Tim Scrace talk about his latest project in Salisbury City Centre and watch a documentary film called Garbage Warrior (2007) featuring Michael Reynolds.

The Branch will provide light catering and guests will be able to get drinks from the bar. We will be collating donations with all proceeds to be given to the Architects Benevolent Society. The Society helps past and present members of the wider architectural community and their families – from people just starting out in their careers, to those who are now in retirement.

After a summary of Branch activities by Paul Stevens, Members will be electing a new Chair for the Branch as Paul is stepping down from his role. If you, as RIBA Member in the Branch, would like to put your name forward for the two-year Branch chairmanship, please contact us.

Over the two months of install, the sculpture has been seen by over 90,000 people and 3,000 people have interacted with it. More details here and below.

Garbage Warriors (2007) by architect Michael Reynolds

Garbage Warrior, a feature-length documentary film, follows Michael Reynolds as he works to pass the “The Sustainable Development Testing Site Act.” Legislation that allows land to be set aside for the testing and development of sustainable buildings. It gives innovators the freedom to dream up a solution, and go out and test their methods the next day.
