We’re excited to invite you to a co-hosted evening of casual drinks on Thursday 2 October, from 6:30pm to 9pm at Emmer, Pacific Place – a cozy spot known for its welcoming vibe and artisanal pizzas. This relaxed gathering is brought to you by AIA Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA), and is part of AIA Hong Kong’s monthly “Grumpy Hour” series – a term affectionately coined to describe informal meetups where architects come together to unwind, reconnect, and reflect on the profession.
Expect an evening of good company, great drinks, and even better conversations. Whether you're an architect, designer, or industry professional, this is a chance to share your thoughts on the evolving state of our field – from the challenges of sustainability and urban density to the shifting expectations of clients and communities. In a time when the profession is being redefined by technology, climate imperatives, and social change, Grumpy Hour offers a space to trade insights, spark ideas, and build camaraderie.
So, grab a drink, meet fellow creatives, and join the conversation. We look forward to seeing you there.
