RIBAJ webinar: RIBA Economics Panel

This event will give RIBA Members insight into the current and future economy and help practices identify routes to resilience and growth.

The RIBA Economics Panel will convene with contributions from the Bank of England, Glenigan, and the RIBA. This event will give RIBA Members insight into the current and future economy and help practices identify routes to resilience and growth.

It will also explore how architects, as designers and innovators, can position themselves to capitalise on both changing sectoral opportunities and the response to the climate emergency, and:

  • inform architects about the current and future economic status of the general UK economy, the construction sector, and the architectural market
  • provide a sectoral overview of the construction industry and the architects’ market, identifying areas of relative strength and weakness over the short and medium term
  • provide architects with information to help practices identify potential routes to resilience and growth
  • contextualise economic challenges and opportunities within the climate emergency

This event is for practice managers, architects, and students who have an interest in the economy.

Panelists include:

Lai Wah Co - Deputy Agent, Bank of England
