Skill Up: Exhibition environments

For young people aged 15 to 18
This two day creative workshop will focus on exhibition, theatre, and art installation design with exhibition designers West Port Architects.
We will look at the challenges of navigating the important issues of designers and discuss the tools that can be developed to ensure that our designs remain individual, sustainable and people focussed. We will learn how to combine imaginative and conceptual narratives and respond to a brief. We will develop model making and hand drawn illustration skills whilst creating a storytelling maquette. Then move on to design and build an immersive and exciting exhibition space or theatre set in response to our stories.
This creative architecture workshop is led by architect Kathleen Lucas of West Port Architects, for young people aged 15 to 18 years.
