Virtual building visit - Sky-House Co.

Join the Sheffield Society of Architects for a live presentation of the Sky-House residential scheme; a concept, created by award winning Architects CODA Studios, which centres around a shared pocket park with signature private roof garden terraces.

Join the Sheffield Society of Architects for a live presentation of Sky-House Co., delivered by David Cross, director and co-founder of Sky-House Co., via Microsoft Teams.

This is a free event, and all are welcome – architects, other built environment professionals, students, families, and friends.

The Sky-House Co. is a house builder, aiming to create close knit communities via a 21st century take on the traditional Victorian back to back homes.

The Sky-House residential scheme, a concept created by award winning Architects CODA Studios, centres around a shared pocket park with signature private roof garden terraces. Large windows and a roof garden focus views on the sky, giving it its name: "Sky House." The design is not only inspired by the traditional homes, but it reflects the region's industrial heritage with its saw toothed roofs.

Starting as a residential scheme in Waverley, Rotherham, it has grown and is now underway at Oughtibridge, Stocksbridge, and the Devonshire Quarter, Sheffield.

“The Sky-House aim is to provide affordable beautiful and unusual homes for the first time buyer and families and we believe that is exactly what we are achieving.”

Visit the Sky-House Co. website to learn more about the project.

The session will be recorded and made available for free online following the event to make visiting local architecture more accessible to a wider audience.
