Join us for an outdoor tour of award-winning city landscapes by Southern Green (Chartered Landscape Architects), including the Student Forum / Armstrong Public Realm at Newcastle University and Bigg Market.

The tour will start at the Student Forum (adjacent to the Students' Union Building, Newcastle University, King's Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 8QB) before walking to other locations.

Student Forum
A public square at the heart of the university campus. The design includes a large range of seating areas and bespoke seating types to maximise usage of the space throughout the day.
Armstrong Public Realm
In addition to raising the quality of the public ream for student and staff experience, a key purpose was to provide a welcoming and attractive visitor arrival experience for families and graduates for graduation ceremonies, providing an accessible processional route overcoming challenging levels.
Bigg Market
Reinstating the Bigg Market as a much-loved destination space through the preparation of an HLF Townscape Heritage bid with MawsonKerr Architects and subsequent detailed design.
