RIBA Branch, Chapter, and Regional elections

RIBA Branch and Chapter elections are held bi-annually during January, February and March. Regional Elections are held bi-annually during October and November. RIBA will sometimes hold Branch, Chapter, and Regional elections outside of this period if required to do so.

We will publish a notice of election for all Branch, Chapter, and Regional elections on this page when required and will email all members within the Branch, Chapter, or Region where the election will be held.

Online elections

RIBA has a commitment to sustainability and using resources effectively and efficiently. In line with this, the entire election process is conducted online. Nominations can only be made electronically - through the RIBA Elections portal. Please note that nominations by post are not possible in any election.

Whether as a candidate or elector, participation in the elections will only be possible if a member has a registered email address with RIBA.
