North Gate develops a longstanding vacant brownfield site, by providing a new residential city landmark, completing the Gorbals masterplan in Glasgow, Scotland. Containing 31 homes and comprising, 1 and 2 bed flats for 100% social rent, it is designed to suit the needs of primarily older residents.

NGHA’s community-managed elected committee supported the project and provided continuous feedback throughout design development. This placed the needs of the community at the heart of the design.
