Following the successful event in Paris, the second event was held in Milan, and was a significant milestone in the journey towards establishing RIBA Europe.

The RIBA Europe region has over 1,300 RIBA members and hopes to set up a chapter. RIBA Europe aims to create added value and opportunities for members to join a thriving network and community of architects across the continent.

The Belgian Defence has published a call for tender for the new Belgian Defence HQ. This is a Design-Build contract with an estimated value of 165 million to 175 million euros, and the deadline is 7 October 2020.

In the summer of 2017, a group of young people were invited to explore architecture ‘Beyond Borders’ as part of a week-long summer school in the village of Oryahovitza, Bulgaria.
