The Royal Society of Architects in Wales is delighted to announce the seven buildings that have been shortlisted for the RSAW 2019 Welsh Architecture Awards.
RSAW’s 2019 Festival of Architecture, Discovering the Unexpected, launches on 16 March with the Progressive Landscapes symposium at National Trust Dinefwr Park and continues to 28 June.
The Royal Society of Architects in Wales (RSAW) has published its Review of the Year 2018.
Authored by Dr Peter Wakelin on behalf of the RSAW, this feasibility study explores the best way forward for coordinating and archiving material pertaining to architecture in Wales. This includes material produced by Welsh practices themselves, and material produced in response to Welsh architecture.
The RSAW 25th anniversary conference on 30 November 2018, co-hosted by Rockpanel Group, will mark 25 years of national debate on architecture and the built environment with an unflinching and far-reaching exploration of 'The Value of the Architect'. Speakers include RIBA president Ben Derbyshire, RIAI Presdeint David Browne, Sarah Featherstone of Featherstone Young Architects, Irena Bauman of Bauman Lyons Architects and Richard Murphy, founder of Richard Murphy Architects, Edinburgh.
