RIBA Site Signboards Service
RIBA Site Signboards are designed to achieve the greatest promotional impact for practices: they provide one of the easiest and cheapest methods of promoting your firm's work. All offices are encouraged to make use of the copyright-protected RIBA Site Signboards, which are exclusively produced by the RIBA.
The boards are available exclusively for RIBA Chartered Architects, RIBA Chartered Practices and RIBA Client Advisers, with up to three lines available for the business name. A single line of contact details should appear at the foot of the board, which can include address/telephone/email/website details subject to space.
If wished and subject to fitting in line two/three, additional words describing the services provided could be added, for instance - "Architecture Surveying Planning Engineering". Sole practitioners may use professional affixes (in addition to RIBA) such as RICS, MICE, RTPI, etc (but not educational or degree qualifications).
Non-Chartered Practices may make use of the boards using the “RIBA Chartered Architect/s” category but only if ALL directors/owners of the company are RIBA Chartered Members.

The signboards are available in standard sizes (4’x1’ and 8’x2’), produced on 5mm rigid board (suitable for outdoor), a vinyl sticker (suitable for windows) or a mesh banner (suitable for outdoor/scaffolding). Other sizes and materials available, prices upon request.
The RIBA badge, colour and all lettering are all part of a fixed template and no graphics, logos or icons can be included. A QR code can be added but only in the top right specified.
To place an order
You will receive a reply with a PDF proof for your approval. We will contact you to take a card payment by phone before the board is issued. Please ensure you provide payment contact details.
Chartered Practices can order signboards through our online portal. Simply login to My Account and select the signboard tile under My practice benefits. Here, you will find the link to enter the portal along with details of how to log in.
For new Chartered Practices, it can take up to two weeks to add you to the portal system. In this time, please order using a form.
Ordering through the online portal is quick and can provide you with an instant image of your board. You can also make changes to your contact details until you are happy to proceed.
