Chartered Practice knowledge series - 2030 Climate Challenge benefits

All you need to know about the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge. Learn why you should join, what are the benefits for you, your practice, and your clients.

The RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge sets a series of targets for practices to adopt to reduce operational energy, embodied carbon and usage of potable water. If all RIBA Chartered Practices aim to meet the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge targets, they will play their part in addressing this global crisis. If you have not yet signed up, you can begin your journey here.

At this session, Alex Tait, RIBA Head of Technical Practice, will aim to demystify the scheme and explain what the benefits are for you as architects and also for your practice.

You will learn what information is available from the RIBA, where to find it, and how to use it for your projects. You will also find out how far the scheme has developed since it was launched in 2019, as well as what partnerships with other construction industry bodies and institutes have been created. Details of future tools and collateral will also be discussed.

At this event, RIBA Chartered Practices who have already signed up will share the reasons why they became a signatory, describe their experience and what it has meant to their practice when pitching for clients.

This event is part of a knowledge series exploring how to get the most value from your RIBA Chartered Practice membership.
