The area of Deptford Creekside was granted conservation status in 2012 and has considerable architectural as well as historical interest, industrial heritage and is well known for its many artists studios and galleries. Starting at Cutty Sark, this walk considers the importance of arts and culture to the regeneration of the area and stops at the RIBA Stirling Prize winning Laban Dance Centre by Herzog and de Meuron, one of the largest purpose-built dance centres in the world.
