Drawing Domesticity

As part of Architecture Drawing Day, we invite you to a Starkers Life Drawing Event exploring Georgian domestic traditions that persist today.

Two nude models drinking tea, playing music, catching up on correspondence: Starkers returns to RIBA with a fond look at Georgian traditions that define British domesticity today.

Inspired by artist Pablo Bronstein's response to Neo-Georgian architecture, this life drawing event is part of Architecture Drawing Day in RIBA's stunning 1930s headquarters.

The event will be brought to life by models Dominic Blake and Roy Joseph Butler with tutor and host Leo Crane.

Drawing starts at 5pm, but why not come early to see the free exhibition Pablo Bronstein: Conservatism, or The Long Reign of Pseudo-Georgian Architecture.

Please note that models will be nude and participants must be at least 16 years old. Materials provided.
