Course description

Join model-maker Ellie Sampson to develop your 3D modelling skills. Over one weekend, you’ll learn how to create architectural models and infuse them with elements of fantasy architecture, inspired by the Wallace Collection exhibition, Inspiring Walt Disney: The Animation of French Decorative Arts.

We’ll begin our masterclass at RIBA HQ, 66 Portland Place, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of architectural model-making in paper and card, before relocating to the Wallace Collection on day two, where you’ll visit the exhibition and develop your models further to create Rococo-inspired architectural fantasies, fit for a fairytale.

This is a collaboration between the Wallace Collection and the Royal Institute of British Architects.
