RIBA East Conservation Group: heritage netwalking

Join the RIBA East Conservation Group for their heritage netwalking event - a guided walking tour of Sudbury followed by lunch.

The RIBA East Conservation Group's mission is to bring new knowledge and support to local conservation architects and members with an interest in conservation - bridging the gap between local and national committees and initiatives.

Group members represent all RIBA East branch areas; Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Norfolk, and Suffolk, with the chair based in the heart of Norfolk. The group meets on a monthly basis, mostly online, with guest speakers invited to provide a talk on a topic of interest.

'Heritage netwalking' is an opportunity to learn about heritage and conservation through a walking tour, aimed at the market towns of East Anglia. Meeting outside the Town Hall in Sudbury, a tour guide organised by Sudbury Tourist Information Centre will lead the group around the town discussing the general history, with a particular focus and interest on the architectural heritage, whilst providing the opportunity for members to meet and network in person.

Following the tour, the group will go on to lunch in Sudbury (venue TBC).

We really hope you are able to join us for our first 'heritage netwalking' event and we look forward to seeing you.
