Join us for a thought-provoking talk from Duncan Baker-Brown: A case for a truly sustainable, circular economy for architecture and the built environment, followed by Christmas festivities and networking.
About the speaker
Duncan Baker-Brown, Director of BakerBrown Studio, is a practicing architect, academic, environmental activist and author of The Re-Use Atlas: a designer’s guide towards a circular economy, published by RIBA. The second edition of Re-Use Atlas will be published by RIBA in April 2024.
It took Duncan nearly three years to write, involving over 80 hours of recorded interviews with some of the world's leading circular economy thinkers, practitioners, and enablers, and now the manuscript is finally complete.
It will be literally twice the size of the first edition with 40 fantastic case studies focussed on proving that a truly sustainable, circular economy is both a robust and viable option for architecture and the built environment today, not sometime in the future.
So please join Duncan at the RIBA South East Christmas event so that he can share with you examples of some of the amazing projects, people, and companies that find themselves at the forefront of a more climate literate architecture.
