Equity, diversity and inclusion

RIBA believes that an inclusive and diverse profession that is representative of the society it serves is pivotal to meeting the challenges of the future

We're working to ensure that the architecture sector and the wider construction industry is representative of the communities and societies we serve.

We know that there are barriers to entry and progression in the profession, and this particularly impacts individuals from underrepresented and under-recognised groups.

We're committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive profession. We know there is much more to do, and we are always listening.

As we work to promote and broaden access to the profession, explore our resources and initiatives below.
