Welcome to 66 Portland Place, the iconic office of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
As of 1 June 2025, 66 Portland Place is closed to the public as part of the next phase of our House of Architecture programme. The building will be temporarily shut for approximately three years as it undergoes refurbishment to make it more accessible and better equipped for the future generations of architects and members.
Constructed in the 1930’s, our building showcases the very best of Art Deco and Swedish Modernism design to help make your events standout.
Located in a prime central London, we are just moments away from Oxford Circus, Great Portland Street, Paddington, and King’s Cross St. Pancras stations. 66 Portland Place hasa a collection of spaces available and an award winning events team who are experts in conferences, filming, weddings, meetings, training, celebrations, and more.
A true one-stop-shop, with mouth-watering catering and expert in-house AV team, our creative and professional team will collaborate with you to create an unforgettable event experience; and did we mention we’re also a charity by Royal Charter?
