Building Stories – Celebrating the Stephen Lawrence Prize 2022 winner

Join us to hear the story of the winning project from founders Tom Surman and Percy Weston. Special guests from Hackney School of Food, the Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation and musician and poet James Massiah will be joining the onstage discussion, hosted by RIBA Role Model Satwinder Samra.

Hackney School of Food by Surman Weston has won the annual prestigious Stephen Lawrence Prize for 2022, awarded to a project led by an early career architect.  

This live event, hosted by RIBA Role Model Satwinder Samra, is your chance to hear the story of the winning project from founders Tom Surman and Percy Weston. Special guests Henry Dimbleby MBE, founding partner of Hackney School of Food, the Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation and musician and poet James Massiah will be joining onstage.
