The Water Tower, Tonkin Liu - standing tall with nowhere to hide, the structure is both brave and frugal, a gentle giant. This conversion of a disused 1950s water tower into a private home is a fantastic example of adaptation and reuse. Shortlisted for the 2021 RIBA House of the Year, it won a RIBA National and RIBA East Award.
