Mitch Steprans, RIBA
Head of Membership Development
Mitch Steprans is the Head of Membership Development at the RIBA. His job is to ensure that RIBA’s existing membership of over 40,000 people continues to grow and to seek new opportunities for potential members. This includes developing communications campaigns, working strategically with colleagues across the RIBA and speaking directly to prospective members to guide them through the process. Mitch works with all membership categories from students to Chartered Members and speaks to architects and architecture students all over the world.
Martina Amato, RIBA
Project Coordinator, Education
Martina Amato is a Project Coordinator in the Education Department at RIBA. Besides delivering the Charles Jencks Award and organising architectural research conferences between academics and practising architects, she oversees applications for international architects who do not have RIBA qualifications. Her architecture background is key in providing tailored advice to candidates regarding Stage 2 of the MEAP process. Martina has played an integral role in designing and implementing a simplified form for RIBA International Chartered Members and streamlining MEAP overall.
