The RIBA has been exploring ways to provide tailored advice to the Gulf audience in order to become a RIBA Member internationally. Join a single session that appropriately describes your background or join us for both online sessions to help you make your decision on which membership is right for you!

Join us in the Guide to International RIBA Membership webinar series specially focused on Gulf backgrounds and requirements if you are keen to become a RIBA member and require specialised guidance. This series is focused on providing tailored advice based on personal requirements to become a RIBA member and is split into Chartered Membership Guidance and Affiliate Member Guidance. This session is now open to the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman.

Mitch Steprans, RIBA

Head of Membership Development

Mitch Steprans is the Head of Membership Development at the RIBA. His job is to ensure that RIBA’s existing membership of over 40,000 people continues to grow and to seek new opportunities for potential members. This includes developing communications campaigns, working strategically with colleagues across the RIBA and speaking directly to prospective members to guide them through the process. Mitch works with all membership categories from students to Chartered Members and speaks to architects and architecture students all over the world.  

Martina Amato, RIBA

Project Coordinator, Education

Martina Amato is a Project Coordinator in the Education Department at RIBA. Besides delivering the Charles Jencks Award and organising architectural research conferences between academics and practising architects, she oversees applications for international architects who do not have RIBA qualifications. Her architecture background is key in providing tailored advice to candidates regarding Stage 2 of the MEAP process. Martina has played an integral role in designing and implementing a simplified form for RIBA International Chartered Members and streamlining MEAP overall.
