RIBA Berkshire: AGM 2024 (online)

This is an exciting time for RIBA Berkshire as they grow their branch and discuss ways to come together, learn, and showcase architecture in the region. This online, lunchtime annual general meeting (AGM) will allow you to reflect on previous activities, plan for the future, and meet the new committee.

Come together with fellow architects and help shape activity in the Buckinghamshire region in 2024. At this lunchtime AGM, there will be a reflection on previous activities and planning for the future to grow the branch. There will also be a discussion about ways to come together, learn, and showcase architecture in the region.

  • discussion topic: what activities would RIBA Members in the region like to see?
  • date of the next meeting

All RIBA Members are welcome to attend.

There are several positions open for the branch committee, including chair, treasurer, secretary, student rep, and four committee positions.

Nomination and voting timeline

  • Tuesday 27 February - nominations Open
  • Monday 4 March - nominations Close
  • Tuesday 12 March - Ballot Opens
  • Monday 25 March, 4pm - Ballot Close

What does RIBA Berkshire do?

RIBA Berkshire acts as a local hub for architects, providing a platform for professional development, networking, and advocacy, while also contributing to the promotion of architectural excellence and community engagement. This includes:

  • networking networking and community building through organising events, lectures, and social gatherings
  • supporting students and emerging professionals
  • knowledge sharing within the local architecture community
  • promoting local architecture to the public
  • advocacy and representing the interests of local architects to governing bodies
