With a strong interest in art and design from a very young age and coming from a family of builders, joiners and draft-persons it was natural that Katie's curiosity would develop in the direction of architecture and construction.
After leaving the forces, Michael knew that he wanted to go back into education to broaden his career prospects whilst utilising his military engineering experience. He spent almost 3 years travelling and working overseas before making a decision
